keeping true to posting my myspace bulletins on here

9:02pm.

"hello interspace wanderers :) how are we all tonight?

I'm really dying for a new default, who wants to get photos this weekend? everyone! Amity! group shot!

so I fiddled with my profile a little last night, blue soothes me, plus I'd had the pink for a while.

who else loves my profile song as much as I do? :) except for the screamy fangirls, that makes me a little sad.

so I went to yoga tonight with my mum and I am SO damn relaxed right now, I have NO desire to go and study for the math test I have tomorrow. no will at all. it's all about simple interest and home loans, and I've been SEMI listening this year so hopefully I'll pass :)

Danika made me a muffin today, it was my breakfast ^____^ thankyou buttermuffin xxxx.

sometimes I wish I could freeze time and run around and get everything done that I haven't managed to cram into the 24 hours the Earth gives us each day.

I saw Adrienne today. I think it's a Monday tradition now for me to go see her at TAFE after school :)

'jello, let's get some yellow jello and mellow.. we could be bedfellows.."

I've been reading Breaking Dawn again, and even though I hate it THE MOST out of the whole saga, it still gets me down about being so single and ffing hopeless. I guess I shouldn't really care that decent guys don't like me, but I do and I wish I wasn't so shallow :( I hate it.

3 weeks left until holidays, we should plan something :)

I'm going to apply at McCafe sometime this week and finally get my sorry a**e a job. I feel so shite when I don't have a dollar to my name.

I'm feeling kind of out of it (the yoga) and relaxed (the earl grey chilled tea) so feel free to talk to me about ANYTHING you like, I'm all ears!

have a lovely night xx."

why are all my days..

so lovely lately? today I rang up Leigh Boswell and we are OFFICIALLY! (unless it rains) starting filming my ftv short film this Saturday morning; excited!? well I am :)

ALSO my other short film (which is still in the planning stages), is getting promotion from across the OTHER SIDE OF THE COUNTRY! my lovely dear friends Whisperwolves have been telling kids about my film at their shows, and it doesn't even have a title yet! I'm so damn lucky to have them on board, please listen to their music, it's gorgeous.

Saturday afternoon I'll be catching a bus up to Atherton again and seeing Rikki! How I miss her already! I love Atherton, it's so much better than Cairns. I kind of want to move there next year..

Today my form/english teacher made a bet with me. He'll get all of his hair spray painted pink for Colour For A Cure, if I get mine done all blue. My hair is already quite red, so it'll go.. purple? I don't care, if I get to see the English Head of Department, a published author and all round respected man get his hair coloured hot pink, well that's something worth taking a photo of :)

last Friday night was pretty good

I dragged my brother along, and we went in to see Mr.
Honeywill's (my photography teacher's) exhibition opening at the local gallery KickARTS and his photos were really great! If I can get some copies, I will post them on here.

Got home, watched a bit of Old School but fell asleep.

Then I had an entire weekend ahead of me to work on my art and ftv, and to neglect my history assignment.

I thought this cyclone was supposed to be getting closer, they were telling us to prepare on Saturday night but by Sunday morning there was no heavy wind OR rain. wtfark.

I hope to weather clears up soon so I can start filming my short film for ftv. Mrs. Williams has organized for some little kids from The Young Company (a Cairns acting school) to be in my film- how extremely excellent is that!? She's amazing, I love Mrs.
Williams :D

I love making films.

A Sentimental Little Note

I love that all my close friends have such gorgeous hearts and colourful minds. thankyou for making me feel interesting.

it's either that I'm listening to Kimya Dawson, or that fact that people are actually commenting me right now, or that I plan to start filming this weekend, but I feel really sleepy and excited and peaceful and I feel like crying but I also feel like cutting up a tonne of coloured paper and throwing confetti everywhere right now.

An Incomplete Summary of my 5 Day Weekend

Thursday was excellent! brilliant really. is it just me, or does everyone need one of those days with a friend they can spend hours with and not get bored, and am just happy doing nothing really whatsoever? I do.

today I went into town with Marisa and we went to a few op shops (and I bought this DARLING blue polka dress, it's so adorable) and to the fabric shop (where I bought 3 meters of this gorgeous lacey threaded hemming which I plan to make a bag out of) and stole a few cute buttons ^_______^

we went to this bookshop down an alleyway (one I've never seen nor heard of before) and I walked in and asked if they had any Goosebumps and the 20 something girl was all "YES!!" and it turns out she's as big a fan as I am and we had a good chat for about 5 minutes. I just LOVE meeting strangers and having something fantastic in common.

Anyway, I plan to donate a few of my "Choose Your Own Adventure" Goosebumps books to the shop, even though we both agreed they were terrible, someone somewhere out there might love them, as she told me she'd put aside any new Goosebumps books they get in for me :D

Then Marisa wanted to check out the Asian Supermarket and we saw packets of STRAIGHT OUT MSG! haha! I posted a photo of it yesterday, so the proof is on this page somewhere.. and dried octopus in bags- eck!

and we had rice rolls for lunch, then just wandered around Cairns Central till around 3.

I got home and then PJ's sister drove me and PJ down to this paddock opposite Cairns Christian College and we painted her up and took photos! she's such an amazing model, she's up for anything :) I straight out love her, thanks Jaime (L).

the grass made us quite itchy but it was definantly worth it.

Saturday night I stayed at Rik's house in Atherton and we spent our LAST $10 on a six pack of UDLs, so we're both officially broke as shite. But we had fun, and even though something bad happened, she was there for me and I truely appreciate having her in my life. I doubt anyone could have a better best friend than I do :)

ALSO TODAY my teacher told me that the piece I'm working on now (for film and television) will be the piece I'll submit to Creative Generations WHICH MEANS I'm officially an entrant! Happines and delight are running in full flight through my veins! I hope I get chosen, please wish me luck!

I'm thinking about starting filming my short film this weekend. The one due for school, not the Tristan one. I should start working more on that as well though..

Today in the Asian Supermarket, we found this:

I've decided to start posting my Myspace bulletins on here

That way, you'll be guaranteed of a couple of posts per day :)

imarge!

"I got my film developed today of our school trip to Rusty's Markets :) a couple have some light streaks and overall they're not fantastic quality, but I think that's exactly what I needed for my art piece! now all I have to do is hole punch the corners and turn it into a book, and put it somewhere inside my cardboard 1 person cinema :D

then tomorrow I'm meeting with my friend Jess and her little bub to take some photos of them ^_________^ I can't wait! then I'll be going to Natalie's bbq in the afternoon, only I won't take my togs and swim. I'll spare everyone the painful sight of that.

BUT I HAVE AN ART, FTV AND ENGLISH ASSIGNMENT ALL DUE ON MONDAY OMGOSH OVERLOAD!

I saw Molly today in Smithfield, my day was instantly brightened :) I guess I don't realise how much I miss people until I see them again..

my phone is still a deadbeat, so sorry I can't reply texts :( just myspace me if it's urgent (Y).

if you've managed to read through all of this, you should comment me! obviously you like me enough to read this far, so I think it's well deserved.

I bought frankie today, I guess that's the reason for my lovely nostalgic mood.

xx."

"Whitley, he's so amazingly beautiful, in his musical craftsmanship.
I can't help but fall utterly in love with every single one of his songs:

Year Long Project

Yes, I am in the middle of my photography class right now, waiting for the card reader so I can upload my latest photo in my year long project. We each had to choose something to photograph for the whole year, and I've chosen to take a photo of whatever I eat for dinner that night. So far I've only taken 4 photos but in the end I'll have well over 100!

Day 1:

I Love Our News

I really don't get around to posting on here much anymore.. I'll try harder :)

So I was watching the news with dear mother just then, while eating my stirfry, and it was talking about all the rains and flooding down in Townsville. Then there was a shot of a baby croc and the presenter was saying about how it got hit by a car, since the streets were flooded, and the representitive cop came on, doing a press conference about it, and he said "well we have reason to believe he was jaywalking, he should have known better" HAHAHAHAHAH! I mean come on, who doesn't love Aussie humour :D

I love it, it's great.

-start of ranty rant-

In worse news, school has begun again for the final year of my education, and I'm weary already. I really hate going to school everyday, and this horrible weather isn't doing much good. It rains, then it gets hot, then there's this hot steam everywhere! I can't believe people are still making the sea change to live up here- morons.

-end of ranty rant-

I went to see Ross Nobel at the Civic Theatre on Sunday night, and I actually got a stitch from laughing so hard! I don't think I went more than 10 seconds without laughing, and that's NO exaggeration! He's damn golden I tell ya' :)

I have also landed myself a temporary (curse) job at Rainflowers and Wedding Bells Florist for Valentine's Day! I'll just be cleaning and answering the phone, but I'll be surrounded by flowers and people buying flowers for people they love- it should be a really good uplift of my spirits.. plus, I get paid! money is nice, I want to take my friends and my boyfriend out to dinner with my first pay check, so I hope the pay is decent.

I created a Facebook page for myself, but I barely know how to work it and have a gloom feeling that it will end up laying dorment, unless prompted by other Facebookers.

I wish my friends had Blogspot as well.

I wish I had a cup of tea that never emptied.

Today I drew a picture of a unicorn for Marisa and she stapled it into her diary. She named it Sparkle, which was just so DARNED cliche of her, she deserves a bashing. But I could never do that, because she liked my drawing, and because she has those magic pens that change colour!

I also recieved a letter from my friend Zoe, who moved to Brisbane around a month ago. I love snail mail, and I especially love her writing paper- she always out does me. Though I didn't get to read the letter until I'd found it, as my brother pwnd it and hid it in my room somewhere, giving me hints to it's hiding place until I found it. I think that amused him for a good 2 minutes.

This post is really long, I'm sorry. I just like thinking about all the things that've happened to me since I was last on here..

I finally got around to seeing The Butterfly Effect- no one told me it was such a sad movie! I really loved it though, but I'm definantly going to steer clear of its sequel. People say it's so bad, that it ruins the first movie. I don't think that could be possible, but I definantly don't want to take any chances. Reccommend me a movie, I love watching new films :)

That's all I can really think of/be bothered writing right now xx.
